SEOUL -- K-pop band BTS has grabbed the "Album of the Year" prize at this year's Korea Popular Music Awards, a prestigious event jointly organized by prominent South Korean music organizations,
"Love Yourself: Answer" received the "Album of the Year" trophy Thursday at a ceremony in the northwestern satellite city of Ilsan. BTS was also awarded the "Bonsang" (main prize), which goes to an influential figure in the music scene. The boys skipped the awarding ceremony because of their tight schedule.
