SEOUL -- K-pop boy band BTS has dropped 49 photographs as part of "FESTA", an annual event to celebrate the seven-member group's debut on Jun 13, 2013. The 10-day celebration began on Monday.
BTS kick-started its FESTA on Monday by releasing "Family Portraits", a bundle of concept photographs showing members, through social media including Twitter and Facebook. The boys will release more photographs and special video clips.
On Tuesday, BTS members are scheduled to release a photo collection of members from 2018 and 2019. The special piano version of "Euphoria", a solo song by Jungkook, will be unveiled on June 11.
BTS' tweet about the release of "Family Portraits" garnered 553,519 likes and was shared 235,210 times in less than nine hours. Thousands of fans have edited the new photographs to create background images for smartphones and share them with other fans.
BTS, which just finished its two-day concert in London as part of the band's "SPEAK YOURSELF" world tour, is scheduled to move to Paris.
