The 22-year-old who gained popularity as a former member of South Korea's project boy band Wanna One triggered curiosity at midnight Wednesday with a website showing nothing but a clock counting down to midnight Thursday.
When Kang's official website finally revealed its content, the website was down for a few minutes. The web page showed "daniel K", the singer's name handwritten in a calligraphic style and "2019. 07. 25". Fans believe Kang's very first solo album will be released on July 25.
Now, enthusiastic fans are conducting a survey to find out how many would participate in Kang's album pre-order event. It is important to make sure that the album demand survey is made in advance to have fan community members participate in group purchases.
