SEOUL -- American rapper and singer-songwriter Lil Nas X has collaborated with RM, the leader of K-pop band BTS, to release "Seoul Town Road", a remix of the rapper's global hit "Old Town Road".

Lil Nas X surprised the world Thursday through collaboration with RM to release the remix song. The BTS leader wrote the song's English lyrics, featured as a rapper, and played with his wits to name the remix song as "Seoul Town Road".

"Seoul Town Road" was released through various online music services including YouTube. The song is currently the seventh-most globally trending music content on YouTube. ARMY, the international fan club of BTS, went wild, complementing Lil Nas X for his superb sense as the video showed two horses, black and purple. Purple is the iconic color of BTS.

"yasss i fell in love this is my new fav song. Keep up the good work both of you!" said "Kylen Sneed", a YouTube user. Another user "Mochi S2" said: "It's so amazing!!! Ok, I'm freaking out! I loved so much! Congratulations boys!"

Some fans expressed disappointment because the song did not have any rap part in Korean. "I’m not gonna lie this would’ve been 10x better if RM had a verse rapping in Korean," said "Snowwy Kidd".

Lil Nas X was recognized globally with his song "Old Town Road", released in December 2018. The country hip-hop song currently maintains its No. 1 place on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for 16 consecutive weeks.

The American rapper and his song are also famous for remixes. He has collaborated with other professional artists such as Diplo, an American DJ, and Billy Ray Cyrus, an American singer-actor, to create remixed versions.
