SEOUL -- Boy band TXT, which gained attention from K-pop fans as the brother band of BTS, will release its very first full album this month. The five-member band debuted with a mini-album "The Dream Chapter: STAR" in March.

TXT said in a post uploaded onto its social media on Wednesday that the band would release "The Dream Chapter: MAGIC", a full album, at 6:00 p.m. (1200 GMT) on October 21. Pre-orders began on Wednesday.

The Twitter message was shared more than 47,600 times in less than 24 hours. Some 12,600 fans left comments supporting the band. "AYEEEEE THE KIDS ARE COMING BACK," said "kimvanadium", a Twitter user.

TXT stepped into the K-pop scene, receiving the spotlight for being the first boy band created by Big Hit Entertainment in six years after BTS. The band's debut album topped iTunes' top albums chart in several countries including the United States, Australia, Brazil and Canada.
