BTS hints at new world tour schedule through mysterious teaser image

SEOUL -- K-pop boy band BTS hinted at its new world tour schedule for next year through a mysterious teaser poster.

"April 2020, Stay tuned," Big Hit Entertainment, the seven-member band's agency, said in a Twitter post on Tuesday. The agency also uploaded a teaser poster that showed the reflection of BTS members on the water with a slogan that reads "TOUR".

Big Hit's tweet received some 108,000 comments and 435,000 likes in less than three hours of upload. "ARE YOU SERIOUS???? MY HANDS ARE SHAKING?????" Twitter user "Joon's World," wrote. Another user "han" said: "OH MY GOD,,, IT’S HAPPENING! WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOME NEWS BUT I JUST REALIZED I WASN’T READY AT ALL, I’M SHAKING."

After gaining global recognition in 2017, BTS went on world concert tours in 2018 and 2019. According to Billboard's year-end box score charts, BTS was the top-grossing touring group of 2019 with more than $196 million. The band met more than 1.6 million people in 42 concerts across the world this year.
