Johnny Rockets, the Aliso Viejo, CA, USA based hamburger chain, has started serving in Seoul. In partnership with Shinsegae Food Co., opened its first restaurant today in the capital of South Korea. The restaurant is located in the KangNam Shinsegae Department Store.
The company‘s first 1,067-square-foot restaurant in South Korea is located in a central shop transportation venue and employs 29 local residents.
Grand opening festivities included a singing ceremony attended by Shinsegae Foods Inc. CEO, Jung Il-chae and Johnny Rockets CEO John Fuller.
Shinsegae Food Co. plans to open five restaurants in South Korea during the next five years.
Johnny Rockets company has store locations worldwide including North and Central America, Europe and the Middle East. It was founded in 1986 in California, U.S.
