The signing took place on Jan. 30, the company said Feb. 4.
The generators are capable producing about 47,000MWh per year, an amount enough for 13,000 households, a company official said.
The wind power project will also help reduce some 30,000 tons of CO2 emissions a year, the official said.
Honam Wind Power is a special purpose corporation (SPC) co-invested by Korea East-West Power Co. and DMS, a renewable energy development company.
