Morris Holt a.k.a Magic Slim was a legendary Philly-born blues singer and a guitarist with unique techniques.
Magic Slim’s official career began with the song ‘Scufflin’ in 1966 then he released his first full album called ‘Born Under a Bad Sign’ in 1977.
He has been releasing albums regularly with his band Teardrops and has been known for his tremendous contribution to Chicago electric blues scene.
Magic Slim passed away on Thursday with the complications of his heart, lung, and kidney conditions. He was 75 years old.
