Gov't to increase lottery issuance 3.6% next year

The government plans to issue lotteries worth 3.61 trillion won (US$3.23 billion) next year to meet growing demand, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance said.

The amount represents an increase of 3.6 percent from 3.49 trillion won set for this year, the ministry said.

The decision came in a meeting of the Lottery Commission under the control of the ministry on Monday.
