South Korean Olympic gold medalist Park In-bee said Tuesday she is ready to come back at a LPGA event in Thailand this month after recovering completely from injuries.

She said she will be able to play "without worrying about injuries and pain" during her competition at the Honda LPGA Thailand, though she has yet to regain her peak-time power and skill.

"I think I've been recovered completely," the 28-year-old told reporters during an event for her sponsor, Dunlop Sports Korea, in Seoul. She has battled back and finger injuries all season last year. She has skipped official events for treatment and rehabilitation since she garnered the Olympic gold medal in Brazil in August.

"It may be hard to get back on track in a short period of time, but I think I can do it by participating in a lot of games," she said.

Her short-term goal is to finish the new season without injury and win another major title, Park said, adding she should be patient. "I do not care much, but my ultimate goal is to get the top spot back." She has won seven major championships in her career. In 2016, she became the first woman in 116 years to win an Olympic gold medal in golf.
