While iPhone 8 is not getting much attention from South Korean consumers, Apple will release its flagship iPhone X on November 24 in a market dominated by homemade smartphones like Samsung.

Apple's iPhone X was first released in the United States, Australia, Japan and other countries on November 3. Fan communities in South Korea showed a moderate reaction with some users complaining about expensive prices. The cheapest lineup of Apple flagship comes with a price tag of 1,420,000 won (1,274 US dollars), more expensive than Samsung's Galaxy Note 8.

However, some fans praise iPhone X's technology features as the phone offers protection from water and dust. The new phone is fitted with 12MP dual-lens camera, has a 5.8-inch OLED display. It is capable of recognizing the face of its owner, providing strengthened security than fingerprint scanners used in other smartphones.
