Singer-songwriter Younha tops iTunes chart in 43 countries with 'Winter Flower' featuring BTS' RM

SEOUL -- Younha, a singer-songwriter who has gained her popularity in Japan, has topped iTunes' song charts in 43 countries including the United States and Brazil with her new song featuring RM, a rapper and leading member of K-pop boy band BTS.

The 31-year old released her mini-album "UNSTABLE MINDSET" including "WINTER FLOWER Feat. RM" at 6:00 p.m. (0900 GMT) on Monday. WINTER FLOWER is a pop song that delivers messages to comfort those who are going through hard times.

WINTER FLOWER is also gaining popularity at home, topping the real-time song chart of South Korea's online music service Bugs. "Dark Clouds", the title song of Younha's new album, stood high at song charts of other major music services such as Genie and Soribada.

Younha, known for her powerful vocals spanning a wide range of genres, has been active as a singer in South Korea and Japan since her debut in 2004.
