SEOUL -- Members of K-pop wonder BTS expressed their desire to grab an award at Grammy's, one of the world's most prestigious music awards events, as they released their new album "BE (Deluxe Edition)," about three months after "Dynamite," a disco-pop track that debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's main singles chart.

"I think what I want to achieve more is Grammy. Thankfully, we have Billboard's Hot 100 record, but we hope our name will be called when Grammy nominees are announced," Jin said at a press conference on November 20 to mark the worldwide release of the eight-track album that contained fears and insecure feelings that everyone has due to a COVID-19 pandemics but should overcome.

Buoyed by the remarkable success of Dynamite in the U.S. music scene, BTS members no longer concealed their longing for a Grammy award. "It could be greedy or ambitious, but I've always had a dream that I'd like to win a group-related award," J-Hope said, adding he would cry if BTS gets a Grammy award.

The new album's title track "Life Goes On" is an alternative hip hop genre featuring an emotional acoustic guitar sound and contained a message of consolation. "I hope we can get back to our normal, natural routine as soon as possible, as everyone wants. This album is about our honest feelings," BTS leader RM said. "The key thing we want to talk about with this album is 'Life goes on no matter what happens.'"

Dynamite was produced in the summer to shed depression with fun and exciting songs, but the new album is a little different as it gives comfort in a firm and sincere way, RM said.

"COVID-19 makes us feel stuffy and sad, and it's an album of our honest feelings," Jin said, adding the new album melted a message of hope that many people will comfort each other. "Life is going on, so I hope we all find something happy. I think more people will feel connected with this album."

For the first time, BTS members revealed their usual natural appearances in the process of producing the new album. "The production process is originally a secret, but for the first time, we showed you what kind of thoughts we have and how we unfold them," RM said, expressing his anticipation that fans would "feel that they've made it together even in a non-face-to-face situation."

RM said BTS would not be complacent with the stellar success of Dynamite. "There are many moments when it's easy to forget our position as BTS... But to continue to produce meaningful results, we must not forget who we are, and have our legs attached to the ground. I think it's our job to give meaningful steps or a moment of comfort to people all over the world."

BTS members have actively participated in the planning, concept, and composition of the new album as project managers in each field. "I'm still too embarrassed to be a director," Jungkook said. "I've also dreamed of making a great music video based on this opportunity."
