Three models -- Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra -- were unveiled during Samsung's online showcase event on January 15. S21, the standard version, comes with a 6.2-inch display while S21+ has a larger 6.7-inch display. The Ultra version has a 6.8-inch display. All models support adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz to provide a very smooth user experience.
New S21 phones also have upgraded connected features. Through Samsung's SmartThings system, a smart home network system, users can interconnect their phones to a home network to control home appliances and wearable devices.
The South Korean tech giant also showcased "Digital Key Service," a key-in-phone service. The service uses S21 models to open doors of cars. Samsung said that it teamed with global carmakers including BMW, Ford and Genesis to release the digital key service later this year.
