Lotte Shopping said in a statement on May 28 that its ecommerce and department store divisions forged a partnership with Amore. The three parties would share sales data to develop new marketing strategies and increase profit, with Amore holding annual promotions through Lotte's online shopping mall and department stores.
"Through this partnership deal, Lotte Shopping and Amore Pacific will cooperate in various angles to strengthen cooperation," Lotte Shopping's ecommerce product division head Lim Hyun-dong was quoted as saying.
Amore, which was mainly recognized for door-to-door sales in the 1980s, has focused on expanding online sales channels targeting young female consumers. In 2020, the cosmetics giant partnered with popular online shopping mall 11STREET and Naver, the country's top web service portal operator.
