SEOUL -- NHN Edu, the operator of a period tracking app called "Pink Dairy," released an artificial intelligence-based pregnancy test service that informs users whether they are pregnant when it is difficult to identify the result. Those who had unclear lines on the test can verify their result through the solution.

"AI Pinkbot Pregnancy Test," a service that determines pregnancy based on the pregnancy test kit photo submitted by users, was released on the Pink Diary app on August 4. Female users can share the result with their parents or husbands through messenger apps. After receiving feedback from various users, the upgraded version will be launched.

Pink Diary with some 1.3 million active female users provides personalized menstruation-related information once they enter the start and end date of their menstrual bleeding.

Other domestic drugmakers have also released pregnancy test solutions. Hanmi Pharmaceutica has developed an antigen test kit to acquire results in 30 minutes by dropping samples taken from the nasal cavity into the pregnancy diagnosis kit.
